Mr. Ripp's Report

Dear Mesa Verde Families,

Thank you to those of you who attended Mesa Verde Night at CDO High School. We sold over 100 tickets! I wish CDO would have had a better game, but the halftime show was outstanding! We got to see some Mesa Verde students cheer and former Mesa Verde students perform with The Cross Band. It was a fun night for our students!

The next two events for Mesa Verde are the Costume Parade and the Family Dance. Information is below for both events.

Please put student names on jackets and hoodies. They are more likely to get it returned if they forget it on the playground that way. Otherwise, they end up in the lost and most likely not found.

We are excited for our annual Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31st at 7:45! Please see the flyer below regarding details of the event.

Help us make this a spooktacular event by following the costume guidelines:

1. No costumes depicting any type of violence. (No fake blood)

2. Students may NOT carry any type of fake weapons. (nerf guns, bows, plastic knives, etc.)

3. Nothing gruesome or scary, including clowns

4. Students should NOT wear masks or costumes that impair their vision.

5. Please steer away from costumes pertaining to controversial subjects.

Absences cannot be marked excused if parents call after the date of the absence.
